She has worked as a French and German teacher at Telelangue and the IFAM Business School in Paris, as a writer and a translator-her work includes translating German operas into French for the Opéra de Paris. She has long experience developing language courses. She currently lives and teaches in Spain. Her approach to language? She considers it both as something very structured and as something unique, which reflects the culture and the way of life of a country and is constantly evolving. Sonja Terrey Sonja Terrey was born in London to a German mother and British father. She trained as a teacher of modern languages with a focus on German, and taught for several years in British schools. She then changed direction to volunteer as a trainer of English language teachers in Nepal. Now residing in France, but with strong family ties to both Britain and Germany, she has worked for the past 20 years as a translator and teacher of English and German.
